New Park, a Jim Wilson & Associates development is honored to be the Central Site of the Greater Montgomery Home Builders’ Parade of Homes over the next three weekends, this month. New Park will have a Montgomery Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., in New Park on Alpine Park Court. The Central Site at New Park will officially open to the public on Saturday, June 13th at 1:00 p.m. and will continue for the next three weekends on Saturday and Sunday.
SUMMERVILLE, SC | MAY 18, 2015 – Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC is pleased to be working with MWV Community Development on the Nexton Town Center retail project in the Charleston, SC area. This outstanding 80 acre site on Interstate 26 is strategically located within MWV’s 4,500 acre Nexton master planned community. Nexton Town Center will be developed as a regional, mixed use, open-air shopping destination designed to meet the needs of this growing trade area.
On May 1, 2015, 42 Equity Partners, LLC, an affiliate of Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC, announced the addition of Rich Williamson to the company as Director of Asset Management. To be based in Montgomery, Alabama, Williamson will manage and direct the asset management of the firm’s portfolio of LIHTC investments, including specifically monitoring of investment activity, accounting compliance, budgets and investor reporting. Williamson, with over twenty-five years of experience in tax credit investment management for affordable housing investments joins New York based Kevin Fiore, Michael Haynes and Constantine Chigounis.
Jim Wilson & Associates presented a fundraising challenge to James W. Wilson Elementary School – agreeing to match funds raised during this school year up to $20,000. The school accepted the challenge and, through a series of events, raised more than $35,000. Representatives from Jim Wilson & Associates presented a check to the school on Tuesday.
MONTGOMERY, AL | MAR 23, 2015 – Eastchase, the Montgomery, Alabama, 330 acre mixed use development by Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC and ALFA Commercial Properties, has closed the sale of a 12.5 acre site to Foshee Design & Construction, LLC of Montgomery, Alabama for the construction and operation of “The Morgan,” a 216 unit Class A apartment home development. Construction commenced in February 2015 with completion anticipated in about sixteen months. With over forty percent of the site planned as green space, The Morgan is well designed and, in keeping with the overall Eastchase design concepts, will incorporate as a part of the complex a clubhouse and resort style pool, all with great positioning adjacent to excellent dining and shopping venues at Eastchase.
OCALA, FL | MAR 18, 2015 – Rick Langhorne, President of JWA Ventures, LLC, an affiliate of Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC, announced the closing of its first build to suit transaction for a location in Ocala, Florida. Ocala Station, which will include two freestanding buildings on 1.2 acres occupied by Aspen Dental and AT&T, is located at 4910 Silver Springs Boulevard. The development is a joint venture with Solomon Real Estate Group of Atlanta, Georgia and R.H. Ledbetter Properties, LLC of Rome, Georgia. Construction is due to be completed in late September 2015.
