Carriage Crossing MarketPlace Opens March 12

MONTGOMERY, AL | MAR 11, 2008–Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC developers of the Carriage Crossing MarketPlace in Collierville announce that the center will open March 12 with retailers Dress Barn, Justice, Maurice’s, Rue 21, S & K Menswear and Shoe Carnival. Opening March 13 will be Factory Card, with the remaining retailers scheduled to open by the end of March, with the exception of GameStop, Old Navy and Ross, who will debut in April.

The 184,196 square foot power center is located at Houston Levee and East Shelby Drive. “I am pleased that the second phase of the Carriage Crossing development, Carriage Crossing MarketPlace will open with this line up of quality retailers,” said Will Wilson, president of Jim Wilson & Associates. “These stores will provide additional retail choices for Collierville and the surrounding market area.” Dress Barn will open a 8,015 square foot store, Justice, Maurice’s and S& K Menswear will occupy 4,000 square foot stores, Rue 21 will operate in a 5,100 square foot store and Factory Card will open in 9,375 square feet of retail space. The 30,247 square foot Circuit City and the 39,600 square foot Sports Authority are projected to open at the end of March. The Carriage Crossing MarketPlace broke ground in May 2007 across from The Avenue Carriage Crossing.

The 810,000 square foot Avenue lifestyle center opened in 2005 and was developed by Jim Wilson & Associates and Cousins Properties of Atlanta. Carriage Crossing MarketPlace is the second phase of Carriage Crossing, a 136 acre, master planned retail development located at the intersections of Houston Levee, Bill Morris Parkway and East Shelby Drive in Collierville, Tenn.
