Full Moon Bar-B-Que to Join Eastchase Development

MONTGOMERY, AL  |  MARCH 6, 2017 – Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC (JWA) announces the sale of a one acre parcel of land at Eastchase to Full Moon Bar-B-Que.  The new restaurant location is a part of the Eastchase Central development on Eastchase Parkway directly across from Hampton Inn & Suites.  Eastchase Central is a new JWA development under construction and includes Kirkland’s, Marshalls/HomeGoods and Five Below.

“As the developer of Eastchase, a question long asked of us has been ‘when will you make barbeque a part of the restaurant selection’ and today we have the answer,” said Will Wilson, President of Jim Wilson & Associates, “as we bring Full Moon Bar-B-Que to Montgomery and Eastchase.”

Full Moon has locations throughout Alabama with a large concentration of stores in the Birmingham metro area.  The Montgomery Eastchase location will be the company’s 14th store.    From the Full Moon website – “Full Moon has a long, delicious history of great Southern-style ‘que made in the time-honored, traditional way — with quality meats cooked low and slow over a hickory wood-fired pit and spiced with a mouthwatering, award-winning chow chow and bar-b-que sauce.

The Eastchase location of Full Moon is scheduled to open late summer, 2017.

Kirkland’s Joins EastChase Central

MONTGOMERY, AL  |  MARCH 6, 2017 – Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC (JWA) has added the specialty retailer Kirkland’s, with over 7,500 square feet, to the store line-up for Eastchase Central, the new shopping center development under construction and located at the mid-point of Eastchase Parkway.  Kirkland’s is a well-known name in the Southeast and will join Marshalls/HomeGoods and Five Below in this new shopping venue at Eastchase.

MONTGOMERY, AL  |  NOVEMBER 28, 2016 – Thanksgiving and the annual company luncheon for Jim Wilson & Associates provides the opportunity each year to recognize long tenured employees.  Jim Wilson, Jr., the company’s founder, began the tradition in the mid 1980’s.  Since then, the company makes a special recognition for each employee’s ten year celebration with JWA and each subsequent five years.  In 2016, JWA recognized Carl Bartlett (35 years), Leslie Eagerton (20 years), Angie Langston (15 years) and Elton Fowler (10 years).  These employees joined others in the company with length of service awards.  Within the company’s home office, 4 people have been with JWA for over ten years, 3 people over 15 years, 8 over 20 years and 3 over 35 years.

New Dining Concepts Coming to Redstone Gateway Project

HUNTSVILLE, AL  |  JULY 26, 2016 – A Madison-based restaurateur is working to bring a new retail development to a “landmark” location this fall in the City of Huntsville.

Michael Northern, vice president and partner at WJP Restaurant Group, is working to launch an 18,000-square-foot facility just outside Gate 9 at Redstone Gateway. The development will feature 12,000 square feet of restaurant, conference and dining space at the arsenal entrance where traffic from Interstate 565 feeds.

The 468-acre project will feature two fast-casual eateries, a sit-down restaurant and tavern, and a Redstone Gateway conference and dining center that specializes in business meetings, product introductions, retirement parties, birthdays and other celebrations.
