MONTGOMERY, AL | NOV 12, 2007 – Jim Wilson & Associates, developers of The Shoppes at River Crossing, announce that retailers Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor Loft and Gymboree will open stores in the 750,000 square-foot, open-air lifestyle center located at Interstate 75 and Riverside Drive. Coldwater Creek is a new retailer to Macon and the central Georgia area. Opening its fifth location in Georgia, Coldwater Creek, the Sandpoint, Idaho retailer, specializes in women’s apparel, jewelry, accessories and gifts.
Founded in 1984, Coldwater Creek operates 239 retail stores throughout the United States and employs more than 10,000 people. The Shoppes at River Crossing location will comprise 6,442 square-feet. Ann Taylor Loft plans a 5,555 square-foot store at The Shoppes at River Crossing. A division of Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft offers more relaxed fashions for work and home including classic styled suits, separates, dresses, shoes and accessories. Ann Taylor Loft, headquartered in New York was established in 1996 and operates 464 stores nationwide. Gymboree will open a 2,031 square-foot store at The Shoppes at River Crossing. Specializing in newborn, baby and children’s apparel and accessories, Gymboree is headquartered in San Francisco and operates 585 retail stores in the United States and Canada. “We are excited to bring these quality retailers to The Shoppes at River Crossing,” said Will Wilson, President of Jim Wilson & Associates. “These retailers, along with many others will add to the unique shopping experience at the center.”
The Shoppes at River Crossing broke ground in September 2006. The center, which is a joint venture between Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC (JWA) and General Growth Properties, Inc.
