Edgewater Mall Announces New Development with Brick and Spoon

BILOXI, MS  |  August 29, 2018 – Edgewater Mall and its leasing and management company, Jim Wilson & Associates, LLC, announces another new project development for Edgewater Mall.  Located at the west Eisenhower Drive entrance to Edgewater Mall, the free-standing building will be home to three new stores.  Construction is anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2018 with the shopping venue completed and new stores opening in the third quarter of 2019.

Leading the project will be a 2,500 square foot Brick & Spoon restaurant, a southern style breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant known for its sophisticated, yet casual, atmosphere.  Other additional merchants for the three store project will be announced in the near future.  This project adds to the addition to Edgewater Mall of Premier Cinemas and Sky Zone, both currently under construction.

BIRMINGHAM, AL  |  July 23, 2018 – The Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce today announced that it is moving its office from The Centre at Riverchase to The Offices at 3000 Riverchase, formerly known as the Galleria Tower.

The chamber is leaving a 2,400-square-foot space in The Centre at Riverchase, which is across U.S. 31 from the Hoover Municipal Center, and moving into a 2,500-square-foot space on the third floor of the office tower adjoining the Riverchase Galleria, Executive Director April Stone said. The office will overlook the Galleria food court, she said.

MONTGOMERY, AL | May 22, 2018 – ICSC National Convention, 1983, and the former President of the trade organization, James W. Wilson, Jr. is leading his 1975 formed organization Jim Wilson & Associates through the national convention of developers and retailers in Las Vegas. Attending that convention was a young, 16 year old high schooler, Will Wilson, with his Dad. Today, the next chapter in that family legacy story, William Wilson, arrived at the 2018 ReCon Convention in Las Vegas with his father, Will Wilson. Having just completed his freshman year of college at TCU William Wilson joins his father, now President of Jim Wilson & Associates, and his uncle, Jim Wilson, III, Chairman at the annual shopping center convention. And so begins with William Wilson, the third generation of the Wilson family int he business of shopping center development.

From 1975 until today the Jim Wilson & Associates team has found, developed and operated properties all over the United States and abroad and while doing so has successfully navigated the ups and downs of challenging markets. Today there are new hurdles in front of development such as the changed landscape of development created by the internet and how to integrate the brick and mortar world into a new environment.

The JWA team survived and thrived with leadership by Jim Wilson Jr. That leadership formula is still present and is found in Will Wilson and Jim Wilson, III. MONTGOMERY, AL  |  December 7, 2017 – New Park, a Jim Wilson & Associates Development is please to announce construction has begun on the community clubhouse in New Park located on Park Crossing between Taylor Road and Ray Thorington Road.  The clubhouse will be named “The Gatehouse” and will be a gathering place for residents in New Park and will be located adjacent to the pool at the entry way into the community.  The Gatehouse will consist of a heated and cooled indoor space as well as a spacious outdoor covered patio with a fire place.  In addition to the clubhouse, the developer will be adding some additional amenities to New Park. Redevelopment Underway at Edgewater Mall
